Thunder Perks is an own son of the living legend Dash For Perks, who was recently sold to Brazil.  DFP is the Decades #3 Living Sire of Money Earners in excess of $1 001 404.00, the decades #2 Sire of $50 000.00 Earners and the sire of all-around earnings in excess of $3 million.  His dam was a money earning barrel horse and a daughter of 6 time race champion Mr Master Bug who had in earnings in excess of $1.7 million.  

While Dash For Perks needs no introduction in the world of barrel racing, all breeders know the importance of the maternal line and Thunder Perks carries a powerful one.  In 1982 when Mr Master Bug won the richest race in the world - The All American Futurity, it was to a close second over his 3/4 (x blood) sister.  Both horses were sired x Master Hand TB and out of daughters of Lady Bugs Moon; an own son of AQHA Hall of Fame dam - FL Lady Bug.  As a dam, her bloodline has arguably had one of the biggest impacts on AQHA racing and barrel racing in history through horses like Bugs Alive In 75, Lady Bugs Moon, First Down Dash, Dash Ta Fame and too many more to list. 

This young stallion is a 3/4 brother to the late Perks Master and a half brother to a multitude of successful barrel horses including the great Lady Perks who's long list of achievements includes being the only horse in history to win the Ponoka Professional Rodeo 3 consecutive years (2005, '06 & '07)
