Add to all of this the fact that he is buckskin and nominated to the CBHI and what more could you ask for?

LK Sun Fame is an own son of legendary sire – Dash Ta Fame (First Down Dash/Dash For Cash/Jet Deck/Lady Bug’s Moon/Tiny’s Gay/Rocket Bar/War Admiral etc.) whose record as a sire of barrel-racing horses is nothing short of phenomenal with no other stallion in history ever coming even close to his statistics.

Gru is the result of an embryo transfer as his dam is an accomplished barrel horse herself; after successfully competing in Futurity/Derby arenas, she is now a money earner in 1D and Rodeo competition. She is sired by Sun Frost (Doc’s Jack Frost/Driftwood/Super Charge) which makes her a half sister to so many great horses including Bozo, Dinero and Frenchman’s Guy just to name a few. PC Frosted Kate’s maternal line stems from the renowned breeding program of the Cowan Brothers L.L.C. (home of Sunfrost).

LK Sun Fame will stand the spring of 2013 at his home in 150 Mile House, BC (www.diamond7performancehorses.com)

From June 1 into July he will be standing at C & C Performance Horses near Rimbey, AB.
